Flashbang or Zap gun?

let's be real, there are things that a zap gun and a stun grenade cannot stun. My friend the other day died and lost 400 credits of zap guns immediately before he even got to use it, but if I die and lose a flashbang, I only lose 40 credits. Why should I buy a zap unless it's on sale? My friend insists on buying it but I think it's more of a late game item, to toss excess money on. It doesn't sound cost effective for early and mid game

So we saw the Bracken watching us, I popped the stun grenade to blind him and told my friend to rinse his ♥♥♥♥♥ ass with the shovel. Well as I was throwing it, my friend ran in and ended up in the blast and being blinded. When I could finally see again, the Bracken was gone, my friend was gone, but he left me a nice shovel.

Flash bang fun.

ok this sounds fair, it's easier to coordinate with a zap gun then

Generally speaking a stun grenade is better, so long as everyone looks away before it explodes the creature is stunned for like 8 seconds or something like that, with the gun from what I've seen it'll stop after a few seconds then you have to rezap the monster

wow, it sounds like the gun sucks, also the wiki said the flash stun was 5 seconds, 8 sounds really good. Are you sure that it's 8? honestly even 5 sounds good enough to kill most monsters. My problem is that brackens are fast and are hard to catch in the stun radius

Oh maybe it is 5 seconds, still though being able to drop it and stay on the move or have everyone beating on it is great, not to mention they're actually pretty cheap so if you do lose it ya it sucks but it's nothing like losing the zap gun, as for the brackens when you see them just hard stare at them and they'll eventually charge you, toss the grenade on the ground while keeping your distance just enough while staring should do the trick
