You can't expect player/s to meet the quota if you don't reset it when they die, idk how as a dev you thought it'd be a good idea to have the days continue counting down aswell as wipe the ship of all scrap when a team wipe happens. I could've met my quota but i died, lost everything on the ship and now i only have 1 day remaining as a solo to meet it. I almost never use the word dumb to describe an issue; but this is regarded.

Spare funds for moons doesnt matter if you dont make it to the 1st quota at all; I never find anything good enough to meet the 1st quota, or if i do its by day 0 when the ship is telling me i need to return. and through all that, im not including how ruthless the game is when it comes to collecting the loot to begin with. wtf is the point of playing the game at all if you only find tattered metal sheets and axels worth 15-55 each time and thats if you can even get out.

Sounds like a skill issue but have you tried using the store to buy a flashlight so that -I don't know- you can go past 2 rooms into a building?

its a horror game, you are supposed to fail, remove the mindset of you haveing to succed the quota. there are seeds out there that make obtaining 1 scrap nearly impossible

sounds like a skill issue. Even as a solo player.
You're not suposed to play the game solo anyway.

Go in random lobbies, and play with random. If you're chill, you'll probably get in funny situations.

If you reaaaaallly want to go solo, ALt+f4 when you die to cancel the auto save and try again.

It's horror game and intended to be played with peoples.

You will have a lot of ridiculous or cheap deaths but this is what make the game fun. Suffering together.

It’s fully possible to make most quotas in a single day, if you’re good and lucky enough.

Highest quota I've hit is 3600, it just takes a crew that knows what they're doing and how to handle different situations
