Wooden Room?

I've come across this wooden room every couple runs or so and wondered what it is. A friend of mine said it meant a bracken is somewhere in the facility, but I still am not quite sure. Anyone know for sure what it is or what it means?

pretty sure the whole backroom = bracken thing is a myth, i've completely cleared out facilities with that room in the layout not seen a bracken multiple times. also some people say the bracken drags corpses to that room, never seen that happen either. think it is just something people say

its actually where a bracken spawns, but they only spawn there once when the level is loading and don't have a high chance to spawn. Basically if you encounter one be prepared for a bracken, better safe and paranoid than sorry and a broken neck

I've actually got a video of 2 guys standing infront of the bracken room, one of them being new to the game. the new friend who found the room asked why it was different and the one who already played explained it was the bracken room and that they should leave because it's dangerous, and then with perfect timing the bracken shows up, snaps his neck, and drags him into the bracken room. so I don't think it's guaranteed that he'll drag them to the bracken room, but it's a possibility

I've encountered that room without having a bracken spawn so the information about it being the bracken room is just false. It's literally just a room that can be generated into the facility.

Idk the braken seems to spawn from a vent (like everyone else), but blud could be roaming the whole time after spawning from that room. I know one time I used the fire escape and the wooden room was at the bottom of the stairs, next to the fire door. When I was coming back I saw him open the door even though I never went in. I'm pretty sure if the room is too far he will just drag the bodies off to some corner.

The bracken spawns from vents like every inside mob in the game (even the ghost girl spawns from vents iirc), the backrooms room has literally nothing to do with the bracken.

The way mobs work is that there's a certain number value for each and different moons have different values. For example Experimentation (first moon) has a value of 4, so you'll either have a spider OR bracken as both of those have a value of 3 and both cannot be spawned. So there's a chance you'll have the backrooms room, but have a spider... so you cannot have a bracken at that point. Thumpers and i'm pretty sure for the most part everything else have a value of 1, but some things don't spawn on certain moons.

So having a backrooms room does not guarantee a bracken.

Its rumored that the Bracken spawns there, but we need datamining to confirm.

I've had a Bracken spawn without that room being in the game. Also, research has happened to show that the Bracken doesn't even bring bodies there. They have a fave "spot" picked out in the map itself and that's where they drag bodies.

they actually drag bodies to a randomly chosen dead end, then hang around the body for a while. The bracken spawns in the bracken "spawn room" when the map is loading, one isn't needed for a bracken to spawn (they can always spawn from vents) but if you encounter one of these rooms then there is a chance that there is already a bracken in the map. Thats why i said its better to be paranoid and safe, than sorry with a broken neck. This is all from my own observations so take it with a grain of salt

Brackens spawn from vents just like any other enemy.

The backroom isn't even guaranteed to be their favorite room.

I know they spawn from vents, but from what i have heard and seen they can spawn in the "backroom" rooms when the map is loading/the ship is landing aswell, meaning that they can be spawned in and active before you enter the facility. Though the facilities on the moons can be confusing places, so take it with a grain of salt
