My mic is not working
Game is recognizing my mic but my mic is not working i cant see any green light when i am trying in the settings and also this issue happens in Phasmophobia too i think it is to do with unity engine games when i am playing other games im not facing issue like that but the games which using unity engine i cant speak yes games recognizing my mic but my voice not going to others and in the settings when i am trying my mic there is no green strip

have you tried just checking steam settings?

if you have tried everything, the most i can tell you is trying reinstalling, if that doesnt work run thru every mic settings you can. From "MIcrophone", "Voice Activation", or even double checking "Sounds" & "Recording" settings and going thru there again.

and yes i tried to reset my pc changed my settings i even changed my headphone but still not fixed

My friend is also having this issue. Are you also on windows 11? Im trying to narrow down what it could be

Also having this issue. Mic works fine in discord and other games. It was working last week but now nobody can hear me. I've tried changing the mics, trying PTT, changing windows settings, different usb outlets. nothing works

Im using Win 10 still nothing works i dont know i searched watched too many videos still didnt find any solution

Hello. I also had this bug with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and I managed to fix it by plugging my XLR microphone into the other input. As if the 2nd was not "recognized" by the game. If that helps anyone.
