Had this idea what if you could get a coms relay you could input codes in to gain access to some things or even an item you can do for boosting your coms ability to your computer and give you an option that in some planets you could actually contact some military unit far off and have them start bombarding the region around your shuttle and the base your salvaging. This could be to take out creatures or give the creatures something else to worry about than eating you. Only one problem the artillery just won't stop shooting and for the rest of the mission they will keep bombarding the place so your now having to worry about artillery at the same time as Explosive shells rain down.
