Singleplayer?

On the store page it states "singleplayer" but also "DONT GO ALONE" on the same page...
What is it? Multiplayer only or singleplayer too?

You can technically play this solo, even without an internet connection. On startup, select to play LAN instead of Online, start up a game, done.
On YouTube, you will find plenty of people who do solo the game. Without mods, it isn't really recommended though as the game is incredibly punishing and you probably won't get that far.

The game supports 1-4 players, you can play alone by making a friends only server or join a public match to play with other nerds. The "DON'T GO ALONE" is just classic horror cliche, though it does make sense in this game as nothing scales based on player count

Playing with one person is something you can do, but it really ain't balanced around it at the moment.

Okay so it is singleplayer too but so difficult that you might as well stick to multiplayer. Gotcha, thanks everyone!

you can play alone yes, but its boring that way. this is a coop focused game. Which is why i refunded lol
