FPS boosting Mods

Anyone know any fps boosting mods for the game? I know the game has the graphics of a microwave but there's something that keeps eating my frames on moons and in the ship. I currently average 20 fps while orbiting and 10 fps while landed on the moon.

Which would still require you to have BepInex though.
BepInex is a mod that a lot of mods need to work.

But yeah definitely use r2modman for this game. It's perfect.

Yes, it's HDLethalCompany mod that allows you to do the opposite - decrease graphics details. Works here.

How do I change the graphics with it?

Some enemies will get stuck and cause sudden frame rate drops, also the Bracken enemy will lag your game on larger maps.

This is a mod that apparently fixes the stuck enemy issue, I have not tried it personally though.

what in gods name is your computer, i could run this game on 3 piece of bread and a prayer

This game doesnt actually have too bad graphics, its just a filter that makes the game look worse. its lighting makes the game run slow due to how much detail the light covers, and my PC is so bad that it refuses to render the Smoke, steam, spore, and fog effects, meaning that the fog is also high intensity.

Maybe I'm late, or no, but you can use HD Lethal Company and configure it by your needed changes. I also had almost 24 fps due to my slowpoke laptop (yet also weird how that game with simple graphics requires that pc? a yes, unity engine...), but after that mod I can have at least 30 fps.

Strange thing happened for me: Trying to optimize the game by getting rid of volumetric fog and such actually makes performance WORSE... I don't know how that's even possible, but that's the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
