SUGGESTION FOR THE DEV

I imagine the dev has a plan/roadmap for developing the game further. But one such addition I'd like to see is a new monster type; one that imitates one of your friends.

So you could be walking around in the dark having lost your mates and a guy with an orange suit walks around the corner with his flashlight, the only problem is; this is not your friend, it's the skin walker!!! My view regarding this is that the skin walker would have to kill the person who's skin it wants to wear.

Don't take offense but this idea is so overdone that the Dev is literally purging their entire suggestions thread because "mimic" enemies have too many repeats.

They get it guys, think of some more original concepts.

You say that like this game doesn't have a typical 'freaky statue that only moves when you don't look at it' enemy.

It's not about originality, it's about doing it right. Fake teammate enemies are a cornerstone of games like this and I have rarely seen games do it as well as they could. Whether the dev makes it or not is up to them but I hope they aren't the snob you are making them out to be.

a mimic would be kinda meh in this game if it moves around it would be hella obvious. maybe if it was just standing there and the closer you get it starts to become more jittery and shakes about on the spot until you get too close then it attacks you.

And? The issue is that the community suggests the same thing 1000+ times, it has nothing to do with the contents of the game itself.

If it didn't have "weeping angel" enemies then I am sure it would also be spam suggested. In fact some have suggested it despite Coil-heads existing already.

And? Let people suggest things. There is a very good reason everyone is asking for fake teammates. It's a good enemy type that isn't seen in the game yet. It's a direction that the game can still go in.

yeah this suggestion has been done to hell and back, i'm not throwing shade at anyone for suggesting it but if people just took 5 minutes to look through the threads they would see that this has been done repeatedly.

yes it would be cool to have this in game, but people need to start looking before saying something that's already been said.

Yes because I have the time to go through every single thread to check every single suggestions just to see if what I’ve suggested has already been suggested.

You don't have to check through every single thread when the keyword is highlighted for you to see how many times it's been mentioned on the discussion board.
