Coil-heads suck ♥♥♥♥ playing solo
These things kill runs just by showing up. Everything besides these piece of ♥♥♥♥ enemies have reasonable solo counterplay (even snare fleas), but the second a coil-head spawns in you're stuck running through the whole compound backwards and hoping you can both find the way back and just not get attacked by any other monster. I get that the game is supposed to be co-op, and they ARE fun playing with friends, but there should either be a way to kill them or the option to disable them during solo play.

+1 for killable Coil-heads, I actually want all low-mid tier monsters to be all killable.

But as you already know that this game was design with co-op in mind, so I'm not really sure why would anyone want to play this solo?
More than half the fun of this game come from the interaction with your team.

Alternative methods for solo play could be an interesting idea
Like stun grenades permanently disabling coil heads rather than temporarily, but only during Solo play

Maybe you could make a mod for the game to make solo more playable.

Snare Flea in solo can't one shot you, maybe the dev should add a grace period for the coilheads, when in solo and you stop looking at the coilhead it would activate the grace period and you have idk 3 seconds before the coilhead start to move again. But idk, need testing and feedback to know if this is good or not :P

They could make it so they release a large amount of radiation and burst into flames when you kill them like it says in the bestiary
