I like the idea, but they should separate the console version from PC

If she's going to get a PC, it's going to be a good one. This is the story for A LOT of people, and it was even my story at one point as well. (Up until I finally got one in 2017, and got a new one now in 2023)
With the amount of time it will take for her to be be able to afford something decent, the game(worst case scenario) will probably be abandon-ware and have lost it's hype. It's just the way things are

TL;DR: Because it's in higher demand than you might think, and it's not as easy or cheap to build a *good* Desktop as the PC-elitists have lead so many to believe
