Blind dogs.

Yesterday I played with my friends and I forgor the map name but one of the blind dogs came out of the sand and ate him. Do they burrow? if so that's crazy.

I don't think they burrow, that might be how they spawn in though since my friend died the same way but to a Forest Keeper

Oh I've seen the giant dune worm it wasn't that. If the fella above be right then that's how they spawn the jumping out of the sand. If sum1 is above dem they get instantly munched.

Seems like that's just how they spawn. As far as I've seen, they don't burrow in or out of the ground aside from that.

You’re probably seeing them do their head dive when they miss an attack.

No no trust trust, we was running back to the ship with loot n suddenly doggo bursts out of the sand killing my friend. there was no agro on me cuz I was able to sneak back to the ship.

When the dogs spawn it creates kinda a dust look and they come up from the ground same with i think all creatures outside.
