I think it would be cool to have a mimicking like creature that would First Kill a player, then it would take and use audio from when the player was alive and repeats some words that the player had said prier to dying. Lastly If It were possible maybe the thing could possess the body of the dead person and walk around playing the audio as to lures you into a false sense of hope.

I have a ship upgrade that I posted elsewhere but I think you should hear it. A flare gun idea seems really good but if it’s portable I think it would be strange to shoot it inside. I propose a ship upgrade that adds a mortar inside or outside the ship (still attached to the ship) it’s a permanent upgrade but you have to purchase consumable flares (like stun grenades) that distract the forest giants with light and then explode making a noise to distract eyeless dogs. This is both balanced by cost and the fact that the flare would only distract one enemy at a time. The flare would detonate at the end of its lifespan so that your never truly safe (as I think it should be) but you have options to distract 2 of the 4 enemies outside. I think the worms and baboon hawks are conditional threats and should remain conditional alongside the major threats like the eyeless dogs and forest giants (that now have a way to be distracted one at a time) I also think that the sound and light could be separated into different types of ammo and I’d like to restate that they are consumable for balance options And that having forest giants and eyeless dogs near the ship makes it impossible to go anywhere.

I also want them to add a Tool Pouch that you can buy, that way you can carry 5 items instead of just 4.

Or maybe a box that's two handed that hold 4 small items in it and only takes up one space. But an extra pocket space that is like a pouch you must buy is more or less a better item.
