Mod loader support

Hey i use R2MODMAN mainly because I got it for risk of rain 2 modding, and i knowit's basically similar to thunderstore mod loader, i know mods for lethal company are on thunderstore but does it have support through thunderstores loader thing or is r2modman behind? just wondering

ok so R2modman is a dolar store non Overwolf version of Thunderstore mod manager.
r2 has smaller lib of games etc... they are the same thing, just thunder is better

Pretty much this. I've used R2Modman since it came out but the Thunderstore mod manager might as well be an updated version of R2Modman.

and it just has a smaller library of games not mods si if it has the games you wish to mod its better to stick with r2modman

Pretty much this. I've used R2Modman since it came out but the Thunderstore mod manager might as well be an updated version of R2Modman.

Ive never seen a dumber take in my life, ive used both and thunderstore significantly takes up more cpu,load time and disk space. the ui isnt as good and ill wholeheartedly admit that but r2 is significantly better performance wise and doesnt bug out and refuse to launch mods every 6 seconds.

Oh so the issue is thunderstore itself. I am fairly new to the modding community, and I started on thunderstore. I could get the mods to work just fine on my end, but I could never get the multiplayer to work.

I started with Thunderstore and it would randomly slow down to 1 fps mid day basically making the game unplayable. Even after closing Thunderstore and Lethal Company my computer was still throttled. Had to do 2 system reboots to solve the issue. After this happened a second time, I did some research and it seems like the Overwolf software that is bundled with Thunderstore is the culprit. It runs in the background even when Thunderstore is not running. It slows performance and may even steal your information. Thunderstore will not run without it. I uninstalled Thunderstore and Overwolf immediately and now use r2. It works fine and is faster and no ads is a bonus.

Isn't Thunderstore just reskinned r2 with Adware? And why does it need the Overvolf app constantly running?

thunderstore literally has a download for r2modman in there its apart of thunderstore last time i downloaded itlooks exactly the same even said thunderstore in the advertsiment

Whenever I try too use thunderstore I download the mod's i want. Then I click modded instead of vanilla, And then none of it work's and i don't care enough too try to fix that so. \_(-_-)_/
