Modding Lethal Company (With Instructions)

OKAY OKAY, I have been seeing people complain about little things such as “fov” and “not being able to use number keys for your item slots”. Well do I have something to tell you, moooooddddddss exist! There are mods out there for both of those reasons, and there are many more mods that are great to have. The best mods are the ones that allow more than four players.

If you would like to download Lethal Company mods, then go to this website: https://thunderstore.io/c/lethal-company

Once you are there, click on the first pinned mod called r2modman. r2modman is a mod manager that you can use for many different games. The Thunderstore.io mod manager is also an option, but it is essentially the exact same thing just with ads, so r2modman is preferred.

Once you have downloaded that, run the installer and then you should be mostly good to go.

When the mod manager is open, you should search for "Lethal Company". Make a profile for it and download whatever mods you want.

A mod that I recommend installing is MoreCompany, this allows for more peeps to join your game.

Clicking the “edit config” button will show you the mod files that you get edit.

If you want your friends to have the same mods and mod configurations as you, then go to your mod profile, go to settings, and look for something along the lines of “export code”. Once you’ve done that, a code should pop up. Copy it and send it to your friends. They will then need to copy this, go into their mod manager, and go to lethal company and hit the button that says “import/update”. From there, they can choose whether they’d like to update an existing profile with that code or create a new one. After they click one of those options, then they need to select the “from code” button. They should paste the code and hit the button and boom they’ll install all your mods including any configuration changes you made to the mods.

A lot of mods are host sided, some are client sided and very few require both players to have mods.

depends if the server is client sided, server sided, or host sided

This is why I can't play anymore. Everyone's downloading all these mods from who knows where, and I can't join any lobbies now.

Thanks everyone, couldn't just wait for the game to be updated or play it as intended so now those that don't want mods are struggling to find any lobbies.

Just find a good community on discord and download a couple mods that don't change the game, like more company and late company. The game is a lot of fun with lots of people

Im confused, mods are not working for me at all. when I launch modded from the mod loader, it just goes to the vanilla Lethal company. I have Bepinex downloaded, and LC API, More company and skinwalkers downloaded. Now im just confused why it isnt working.

Just to be sure have you tested if they work or not in-game not the menu? keep in mind tho more company is a must have for all involved to work.
