Sneak and be silent, they have great eyesight wich if you play the game like a stealth game and use your natural cover as advantage as much as possible you should be a okay
I think the main issue here is that you aren't really seeing any counter play. Stun grenades are pretty much it. Blinds them so you can get away. Would be nice if pro flashlights would blind them temporarily if there was any more common method to counter them.
(Fun Fact: that cabin has a light switch in the back room!)
The game is absolutely fun and you shouldn't take it too seriously but keep in mind, the only counter to the coil head is looking at it, and if you leave, it'll immediately aggro onto the next person no matter how far they away, there is no trapping them or anything you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥, God forbid the coil head doesn't spawn at the entrance. Jesters there is no counter except leave, but if you are too far into the map you're dead so you're punished for exploring. Thumpers WOULD be fine if their movement wasn't so ♥♥♥♥♥ and instead they just have wall hacks and I have multiple clips of them turning and NOT slowing down if not straight up going through walls at supersonic speed. The Ooze will camp the entrances. Eyeless dogs are great but they sometimes endlessly go into dive mode and its just annoying to hear them roaring for the rest of the game. Game is great but it's called Early Access for a reason.
