Little beginners guide
This guide is ment to cover the verry basics of most aspects of this game without to much spoilers.
Its ment to give u a better start, or if u are frustrated after a few runs,
to show u the concept of the game and how u might do better.
There are more accurate guides about creature behaviour, gadgets and weather in this games guide section, so if u want to know more check on those guides.
I dont want to spoiler to much here so im not going deep into anything.
Also im not really a veteran, nor a verry good player. Just want to share what i know so far.

So please excuse any mistakes and feel free to correct me. also english is not my native language but i hope its good enough.

U start each run by buying gear.

Buying item: Go to the terminal and type in "store". If u know what u want u can just type in the shortcut.
Buy 1 shovel and 1 pro-flashlight from the terminal as starter gear.
(U dont need to type in store. just type "pro" hit enter. type "c" for confirm and hit enter. u just bought the pro-flashlight
Now type "shov" and hit enter, then "c" and hit enter. now u ordered the shovel.)
U can use shortcuts for every command.
Just put a number behind to buy more. For example "pro 2" to buy two pro-flashlights.ull find out the rest.

When the ship is landing u jump out immediatly and use your stamina to rush to entrence.
Watch out for beehives, water or quicksand.
(Ofcourse when u bought something u will have to wait for the shop rocket to arraive first, but ud better buy on company planet so u dont waste time on mission planet.)
But then hurry to the entrence.

Sneaking is only the half of the game, maybe even less. time is your enemy.
U want to get out as much stuff as possible before 13-14pm.
U dropp it outside infront of the facility doors. go in, and search for more.
u dont walk to the ship each time u are full.
Then maybe at 14pm someone has to bring back all loot to the ship.

After some time ull get faster and will be able to see threats faster and know how to act.
U will know when to sneak and when to run. Time managment gets easier then.

Be carefull, after 15pm more monsters will show up and even the outside becomes verry dangerous.
Eyeless dogs, sandworms and giants will appear, depending on the map.
U will either have to be verry silent or fast, a mix of both,
u will have to learn quite some things about the monsters and maps before u can really survive and bring back loot after 3pm.
(first planet is almoust always pretty safe outside, even after 3pm. mostly.^^)

If u are new, make sure one of u just stays at the ship after 3pm. so he can evac the loot if things go bad.
(When the whole theam dies u will loose everything on the ship)
He stays quite and watches radar. Monsters can hear voicechat!! Use the buttons next to the screen to switch radar between players.
If a player doesnt move for a while hes probably dead.
Theres a ton of gadgets that come in handy but u will have to learn to use them.
The first few runs you should be fine with the shovel and flashlight.

One big point here is the weather.
U go to the terminal and type in "moons".
U will see a list of all planets.
first 3 are beginner.
the next 3 are kind of medium.
better loot here but also more dangerous.
the last 3 planets are pretty hard.
u need to pay to unlock them, but they have by far the most and best loot.
(to travel to them u only need to type in the name. Dont need to type in "moons" before if u know where u want to go. Just type "company" when u want to go selling stuff.)

Anyway u want to consider the weather when u choose the next planet.
after each run the weather on all planets can change.

Stormy.
anything out of metal will make a charge noise outside before a lightning will strike it. Drop all metal fast if u can. This makes it hard to get any metal out without getting hit by a lightning. Its not impossible but if u need to pick stormy wheather i would stick to stuff like bottles, jar of pickels, chemical jug, plastik or brass stuff. thats all safe to loot on storm. Sometimes u have no choice but to pick storm.

Foggy
weather is probably the most deadly weather for new people. U cant see anything, and i mean anything when its foggy and a flashlight does not help.
The only chance is either u know the area and are able to reach atleast the scan range, so u find the entrence and the way back on your own. or u have someone coordinate u by using a walkie and radar with radar boosters.

Flooded.
When u arrive in the morning the water isnt that high. u can see dry path but be aweare, theres quicksand and sometimes u can barley see it. if u sinking in turn around immediatly and jump for your life. After 3pm the water will rise. it gets pretty hard to get out loot now. walking through deep water drains your stamina. with no stamina u cant jump while holding heavy objects. keep this in mind.

Eclipsed.
Many more monsters will show up early on. not much more to say. its verry hard. better evade that modifikator until u have some experience.

If u choose your run u will have to consider the needed quota and then choose what planet difficulty u need to pick and what weather u are willing to take. this mixed with the random facility seed as modifikators makes every run pretty unique and unpredictable.

TEAM Example:
The scout leads the way. with flashlight hes checking every corner quick. he tells theres a open vent. watch out turret left. steering wheel here.dead end.snare flee.silent, all crouch. everyone follows him.

one from the team is the security. he follows with shovel. he helps when theres a snear flee or a hoard bug attacking.he always looks back and around for the bracken. beside of that he picks up every item he gets.

one more of us is often designated as runner after something like 13pm. he brings back loot and when hes done hell stay at the ship to coordinate the late runs via screen and opens the security doors. He is also prepared to save the late runner with stun grenade when they get grabbed by a giant, or to distract dogs with boombox, radar ping or by calling in a shop rocket. in worst case he can also use the teleporter when someone is beeing grabbed by a giant, or about to get left behind. but thats all more advanced stuff. for the first runs he can simply open doors and stay rdy for evac.

In this basic example the fourth player can be and carry anything. for beginners this is good enough. later on u will need things like a lockpick, ladder, walkie and stun weapons to split among the team so u will slightly change roles.

Additional Hints:
U can always fly to the company planet and land there. there u can buy stuff safely. this will NOT use one of your days. 3 days means landing 3 times on one of the mission planets. Day 0 is only for selling!! if u land on mission planet on day 0 u cant go selling after that. u get fired right after leaving planet.

U can look at the most objects in your ship and press B. Now u can move everything to a new position, including the light switch and the terminal.

U can only sell that much to the company to reach the quota and keep the rest on the ship for the next quota. ofcourse u always risk to loose all if the whole crew wipes.

When u see a red security door on the screen u can open it for your team. go to the terminal and type in the door number. for exaple "G8".

Every facility is powered by a "Core" wich u can remove. this will turn off the power in the whole facility wich means theres no more light, all security doors are open and everything that was locked behind them is now released. additional the "operator" that is leading you via radar cant see anymore. He can still see the shape of the rooms but only verry bad. and thats all. Because of this id prefer to take the core at last if possible. but take it if u can it has a good value. also be carefull, as far as i know turrets are still working.

I mentioned before but i make this a extra point. Monsters can hear the voicechat. any voiceactivation can trigger them. make sure its quiet in your room when u want to sneak.

Great guide! I'd clean up some spelling and move this from discussions to the "guides" section though so more people can find it.
