I would upgrade to Focusrite Control 2 though it doesn't seem like it's advertised as being compatible with 3rd gen, which I have.
EDIT: Tried SteelSeries Sonar as well but no dice.
Funny thing though, i just decided to swap my XLR to the other input and now it works. why does that make the difference when that other audio middleware didn't? no idea. just glad to be done with this ♥♥♥♥ on my end lmao
I have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 with a Shure sm58 and switching the mic from input 2 to input 1 worked for me as well!
**What?**
You can select the device Focusrite through the game settings, but no sound is coming out of the voice indicator.
**Why?**
The game is only using Focusrite's channel 1. However, some models (i.e. 2i2) only have phantom power on channel 2 and I only have microphones that need phantom power.
**Solution**
You're going to need a third-party solution. You can install Voicemeeter Standard. Use the following configuration.
1. Set up input
On the [1] Hardware input column, select the Focusrite device. Click on the `mono` option.
2. Set up output
On the [A1][A2] Hardware out output, select Focusrite USB ASIO. Click on the `M` option on the left channel, in order to not hear yourself.
3. In the Lethal Company videogame settings, select the Voice Meeter device.
This will help you use the microphone with phantom power from channel 2 into the game.
Finally got a fix that worked for me. Dunno if anyone else has said anything similar but have a PreSonus audio box. Downloaded voice mod. Changed the settings in game to use that as the microphone. In total took about 5 minutes to set up and it was working like a charm.
The game seems to have a problem with detecting other channels of the audio interface, so if you have a similar issue, I suggest to give this a try.
I am not knowledgable enough to know what those drivers do exactly but whatever they did made Lethal pic up my voice again.
Maybe this solution can do the trick for someone else too.
