Is this really the type of game that needs that? Or are you just annoyed at having to rub elbows with less experienced players, because you feel like you have earned something they don't deserve? Games with inherently divisive matchmaking mechanics dilute the fun. This isn't supposed to play like Fortnite. Go home, kid.
Maybe have that as you level up you get access to more interesting tools, not saying to add a shotgun that one shots monsters but maybe more tools to help or mess around with.
