need help with my mic

the problem is that my friends can hear everything on my pc, including themselves which makes the game basicly unplayable, the problem only occurs in the game, in discord they can hear me well. The thing is that i have tried some things such as changing my voice input or even trying to play in my old laptop, but even changing the entire pc the problem is still there, please help me and sory for bad englihs

you have 3 options.

Use PTT (the sane option)
Get a new Mic (The rich man option)
Adjust your mic volume via your SYSTEM sound options and not game options.

i agree, push to talk feels a bit cheap in certain scenarios.
the game needs to add a sensitivity option.

I'm also having this exact issue. My friends hear themselves, any music I play, any video I have on, literally anything but my mic. What's funny is my friends could only hear me through the game echoing my STEAM microphone test, not the actual game chat itself.

I have this exact same problem, I switched to P2T but it doesn't feel the same.

Yes that is called a sensitivity issue. This game uses max sensitivity so if you have a mic capable of picking up quiet sounds or things far away it will. mic sensitivity option is needed so badly in this game.

noise supression doesn't appear to be the issue (at least not for me) I had my friend mute the audio coming from his computer but he was somehow still echoing (no mods).
