How fun is the game without friends/without VC?

This is not a game for the mic-less. Talking is pretty vital and stopping to type into chat is going to get you killed and/or left behind. Either brave the terror of talking to people or hang up the coat now.

i've been having a fine time with no mic, but have only been playing with friends so far. i guess it depends on how cool the pubs you get are, i can confirm you don't need it to enjoy the game tho
