How does progression work/save?

I see that we get exp from suviving, does this level system do anything after ending the session/failing? Our bestiary saved after we failed a run, and also lost our clipboard and sticky note.

Do we full reset once you restart the game/lobby?

no xp doesnt do anything. the only real progression is that of per save/lobby and or your knowledge of the game and how to handle things.

the only thing u keep is the exp for employee rating if you get a game over (getting fired)
purchased cosmetic and the money you have will be all gone/reset to default state

if you didn't get fired, everything in the save should still be there.

for now to keep the cosmetic/ship upgrade, you can install mod or use a save manager to backup your save

Really? I was hoping that if you got fired it would just roll you back to the beginning of the quota you were doing. (I haven't played much yet)
I feel like there won't be much incentive to get ship decor if it's all just going to be gone eventually.

Yea the game is awesome but, it's very frustrating and there is not really an insensitive to keep playing when everything gets wiped all the time.
