How good is controller support?

This is a big thing for me so please let me know if anyone has tried it yet.

"Partial controller support" on the store page so i guess it's not good at the moment.

even mouse and keyboard control ain't ideal right now (has to mouse wheel to circle through inventory slots and the only rebind-able key is push to talk)

Playing with controller. You have to trial and error the controls to figure out which button does what. The game doesn't have a menu for controls, so if you want to remap the controls after trial and error, you need to use Steam Overlay to access the game's controller settings. If you want to map missing controls that are on keyboard, such as the dance and point emotes, you'll need to map the keyboard command to the controller button of your choice. The game was much more manageable to play after remapping.
