Motion sickness
This game is giving me serious motion sickness, and not just from playing but also when watching twitch streams.

Usually it's Motion Blur doing this to me, but as far as i can see, there is none of that.

@devs, what's causing this? Fix please?

Motion Sickness can be caused by a number of things. It could be because of the Low Poly art-style, or the Visual Filters causing so much on screen noise. Or maybe it's because the hands bob up and down. Even more when running. Maybe it's the FOV. It's hard to say.

Sometimes having a Crosshair, or even just a Dot in the middle of the screen can help mitigate Motion Sickness. But Lethal Company currently doesn't have that.

I just bought the game and 10 seconds in I had to refund because the graphics were giving me so much dizziness and sickness that I had to stop. I think it's because the graphics make objects feel like they aren't where they are supposed to be, sort of like crossing your eyes constantly.

it's probably the head bob

Me too, Im really enjoying the game but after like 30 mins of playtime I can feel really dizzy and it's really unpleasant, I think is the head bob too but I can't tell, I have never felt this sick on a videogame ever...

It's most likely the awful fov

fov 100% yea. It's terrible

The graphics does not help either because it looks like a someone forced cel shading to some PS1 game with very low textured models. Everything looks incredibly distorted making it hard to judge distances between the environment and objects.

FYI there's a head bob and FOV mod (2 separate ones) on r2modman/Thunderstore now :D

I put a sticker on my screen where a crosshair would go (look at something and put the sticker where the hand pops up) it helped me a lot.

Can also confirm my friend was getting some serious motion sickness from the head bobbing, none of the existing mods for it were working so I made one as well to try and help :-) also available on thunderstore if you want to try it out! https://thunderstore.io/c/lethal-company/p/kz/RemoveMotionSway/
