How to unlock doors from within the ship, for other players?

I read the game description that you can unlock doors on the terminal and just wondered how.

type the code that shows up on the radar (above the door) into the console. works with landmines and turrets, some are timed though. e.g., d7, v0

the doors have two characters on them physically when closed, these also show up on the map for whoever is on cameras in very visible red/green boxes

type these characters into the console you buy things in

if a door in front of you is d7, you'd tell someone to open d7, then they would go to the console with the bestiary/shop and etc

they would then type 'd7' and press enter, that's all, no other text is needed except these two characters

ah damn and here I was trying every possible combination of open syntax for doors and shutdown ones for landmines and turrets lol
