However, they can do what they want. Not even 1k players already tell that this game is bad and thats it. You cant force them to make a game the players would want.
Edit: As for Front Mission ... part 1+2+3 are already being Remake'd / ported to Switch.
( source: https://frontmissionremake.com/front-mission-3/ ) The devs of FM know that players want this, else they wouldnt have announced 3 seperate ports, more than 1/2 the FM series, already.
You can bet that >>1k players will play it on release and that this success will eventually reach a PC port, same as with many prior Remakes / exclusives that hit the Switch.
Because thats another possible path the devs could take, Remake / porting VP1+2 to PC. Its so easy to see, but you cant force this success on them. Its their license after all.
I dont want to sound too angry about it, Im just saddened that they went for this entry of all possible ones.

As for VP, I was also stunned after seeing the trailer and how it's "updated for modern audiences" approach fizzles once again. They never learn. Granted, I think SE gives Tri-Ace barely enough of a budget to function, so the devs could've had grander designs, much like with SO6, but they don't have the money to realize it. Instead SE is too busy dumping money into a failed FF battle royale and investment into NFTs that nobody wants.
