Report a translation problem
Some people are just not 100% informed about something and come to forums to ask a simple question for help. Got nothing informative to say? Can just go to the next post.
Neither their patch nor the original translation are better over the other, but if you want the VN to be fully uncut, then do wait for the fan-patch.
I hope you are not banned in google but if you want to know how bad thing are...
Some text is not translated. Instead they wrote pathetic exuses like "its too japanese or meme is too old so we decided not to bother".
Additionally, the official localization for this game is inconsistent even with itself, for example Seira calling Takumi "Takki", "Takky", and "Tacky", or one visual on Takumi's PC translating the same name as "Gradiale" and "Gradiole" in back-to-back sentences.
There's more examples in this review: https://www.kirikiribasara.com/2022/10/06/chaoshead-noah-review-a-masterpiece-marred/
i did search and even read the blog post by CoZ. most of current reviewers just tell us that official localization is bad and we should play CoZ patch. the Tips thing is only specific thing mentioned.
Now i do not have any opinion about CoZ team, and i do hate if official localization introduces changes which are uncalled for. Just that instead of having just people tell us that localization is bad, we could have specific examples.
Anyway i will wait for patch.
Committee of Zero has rich history with translations coming out after them having started up translation projects.
The group was literally founded as a translation project for Steins;Gate 0, the project for which was canceled, when they received news of the official localization. The same happened with My Darling's Embrace, the latter of which hasn't even received an improvement patch.
So no. CoZ has a rich history with getting its translation works cut short by an official release, and thus, also rich history of not feeling slighted when the official one came out.
Do some research and look into the history of the group before you assume hoes mad.
