Not a "game" for everyone but imo it is not bad. It is a visual "novel" rather than a game.

People that gets annoyed by main chracter annoys me. Takumi is not someone to hate but someone to pitty. Game did a good job to show there are people like this too.

the main character is very reletable to the average interent population

It was quite a journey reading through this novel, lots happened in the mean time and this one VN was along with me for a quite while, it was my first contact with the Science Adventures Series (I never watched Steins;Gate or even knew about the Chaos;Head anime when I started) so it was quite a new experience, it had some really remarkable characters who'll certainly stick along with me for a long time, the songs were something else too, the vocals of Ito Kanako bang through the whole VN and whenever one of her songs start, you really have chills. In summary it was really a great experience, I really liked it, it's a good psychological thriller VN with some deep and interesting scientific concepts, the story can be really mysterious but I didn't thought it was confusing at all, it invited us to think about it and theorize what would happen after which is really important to keep the readers interested. About the endings, there's some really, REALLY grim, and they're really different between each other, some are darker, some are a little bit happier, and when you complete it all, you unlock the true ending....

If you're reading it and you plan to read it at some point, just do it, you'll be gifted with an amazing story and some really good characters, with that said, I just recommend you getting some tissues for eventual cryings because things can get a little bit emotional ;~;
