Return to Sender achievement

Missed this one the first time round, if anyone else did, feel free to grab the save below, it is just before the first Mage battle at Taro's Lantern Cave. Just spent a couple of hours re-playing back to this point

1. Download saves

2. Backup your own saves from C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Kena\Saved
3. Copy downloaded Saves into folder overwriting current saves.
4. Load game NewGame+ Forgotten Forest- kill mage

If you haven't yet completed the game, make sure you grab this achievement in the Village Heart Cave where there are 2 mages. Or come back and grab this once completed.

Also, one of the cursed chests in the Village has a Mage
From the Rot Hat Stall in the center of The Village, head left and pass over two bridges. After crossing the second bridge, continue to the south end until you reach the docks, and the Cursed Chest will be sitting on steps.

I think there are mages in cursed chests and trials, which are replayable. Is it not possible to get the achievement there?

My problem with this achievement is how to achieve it in the first place. The timing for returning the orb is so janky, I either get hit or I put the shield up.

Yea it definitely harder than it seems. Just try to put it up as close as possible, it takes several tries tho.

I managed it now. Someone in a Youtube comment said it's easier when you walk towards the bomb as its coming to you. He was right, very easy to parry the bomb that way.

I got the mage down to a fraction of the heath and then used the bow to send the bomb back to him.

Quite possibly, the only Chest that has a Mage is one in the Village

How do you do that with the bow? When I shoot the bow at the bomb, it just explodes

It does, but if you hit the bomb as soon as he has cast it, it counts as the bomb killing him.

One of the trials you access in the village has mages in it that you can retry on over and over as much as you like
