Also there is Reckless Strength, a charm which moderately increases staff damage, but greatly increases damage taken. It's a scam, it's so not worth it. Maybe for the time on the first trial and perhaps a couple of cursed chests, but nothing else.

Ha! In case someone didn't unlock dash ability, wait for it. With it timed trials become jokes and you can pierce through enemies with it
