Unfixable micro stutter
God I hate ue4 the stutter in this game is so bad I have a 3090ti and no matter what resolution or frame rate I try I can’t beat the ue4 stutter even with Gsync

Any recommendations I’ve been looking through the forums but haven’t found any solutions yet

It's called 'Fullscreen' instead of 'Windowed Fullscreen'.

okay yea thats what i use i went into the exe and diabled full screen optimizations too because i heard that fixes things but that didnt do it either. I will try a DDU reinstall of the driver next.

I'm have problems with it stopping respoding for a few seconds, so I went offline and and it ran without a problem one, reconnect internet connection and it starts the freezing again. Don't know if it's the same issue, but that's my solution if it is.

You can set global fps in msi afterburner with the help for riva tuner it will help you a lot.

I updated to the latest nvidia drivers, run dx12 and use nvidias vsync with tripple buffering. Runs silky smooth for me now after having lots of microstuttering

I’ve just sucked it up and deal with it I can’t get it to stop I’ve dried ddr on the drivers , capping frame rate, uncapping framerate . It’s not even close to maxing out my system the stutter just typical UE4 fun lol it may be Gsync issue so will try turning that off and just using vsync and see if that makes it better

I've tried almost all the solutions above and I still get a microstutter every 5 seconds or so, no matter what settings I use.

You have to cap your monitors' refresh rate to 60hz and play the game at 60 fps locked. Should fix the microstuttering. There will be a microstuttering in frame time tho [meaning you won't feel the game as smooth as you'd like]
Whatever i do, sluttering is terrible (my eyes can't stand this :()

[edit] finally solved it by NVIDIA board, v-sync ON + locked ips on screen refresh rate.

That's not a fix, that's a workaround. And a bad one at that. I didn't buy 500€ 165 Hz monitor so that I am forced to play at 60 Hz like a peasant.
