(Unironically the only people I would play this with live in my house)
Have you tried Remote Play Together?
To protest this as bad because "it's 2023" is just plain ignorant and rude.
Why dont you stfu and Learn how to use the basic steam resources ?
because steam remote play sucks major ass, its not a hassle to implement an online co-op function, for people who want to play with their friends who live in other country's, so one doesn't have to use a buggy steam feature you absolute ♥♥♥♥, hope your daughter gets ran over
Nowadays with all the tech and good internet speeds online co-op is not so hard to implement as splitscreen, IF you start creating the game with that in mind. IF not (as in this case), adding sync for all enemies, players, separating game logic - is a nightmare.
The Matrix has you, you should come offline sometimes, you dont even know anything but online.
