There is at the very, very end and it's a bit disappointing, as Sherlock right then seems to be ever so slightly nuts, and Watson looks exactly like his imaginary friend Jon, so the implication there is that Sherlock might just be imagining this new guy as a replacement best friend. I hated that implication, but it is definitely there.
