I certainly hope so. I wouldn't mind Chapter One being the start of a Frogwares expanded universe. And i'm still holding out hope for a Sherlock Holmes vs. Dracula game.

They mentioned during the release period of chapter 1 that it won't be a series. They just used the same mechanics as chapter 1 and sinking city for this 1; maybe with some tweaks to make Watson playable.

There is at the very, very end and it's a bit disappointing, as Sherlock right then seems to be ever so slightly nuts, and Watson looks exactly like his imaginary friend Jon, so the implication there is that Sherlock might just be imagining this new guy as a replacement best friend. I hated that implication, but it is definitely there.
