"Dedicated space" in the Homestead

Where is it? Would hope the game would just tell me a building to go into or purchase but I have ran around for around an hour and can't find it. No other Qs on the forum so I presume its obvious and I am missing it?

You mean unlocking the homestead feature? An event will trigger at the Glittering Artifect Auction house that will lead to the homestead.

Nope, I mean where all the materials are kept that your guys are collecting within the homestead.

I think it was specifically explained to you when you first entered the Back Mountain. The NPC specifically said it will not appear in your inventory.

It's counter intuitive but you can click on any upgrade-able building and you can see the total collected.

The materials are shared between characters. Your homestead progress is saved and when you go there with new characters you retain all progress there except you have to recruit the animals and companions to put there again. The dedicated space for the wood and stone for your homestead is the game file that tracks your homestead progress.

so you can't withdraw the items and sell them? They are not in my normal inventory or when I add companions to the team. Not sure if its a bug or what

The materials your companions gather are only for upgrading the homestead. It is not a bug
