Where can I learn more about machinery and Persuade?

Get npcs to train you. For machinery you can get trained by the leader of the tomb raider sect and by a guy standing next to the leader of the blue wind camp. There's another trainer in the Confucian sect in a wheelchair but you need to join them. Otherwise use the machinery option to open chests for 50 skill xp a pop.

Persuade I know less about but the waiter in Lin'an's hotel can train you.

Persuasion is probably the worst to grind, you basically have to buy a bunch of silver scrap and affinity up all the bus boys/waiters in inns and learn from them.

iirc theres a npc somewhere that gives you a large chunk of persuasion exp but I don't remember who. I think it might be the fox lady in one of the lin city quest lines.

i try trainer in a wheelchair its not train machinery but train imobilize for 1800exp idk is it change after the update or bug because i read from all the guide tell that Trainer for machinery and now im stuck to rise the machinery exp,. can anyone help me with this please been running arround looking for machinery trainer

Pre V1.0 was the Serious Taoist yellow shirt dude in ChuXiang city. Now you can no longer raise relationship points with him and he will not teach you persuasion skill any more.

Well one option is getting a different skill in the same category to max to unlock the achievement that gives as an option at character creation a trait that boosts the skill xp gains in that category by 30% for future playthroughs.

But in this playthrough once you get those 2 other trainers I mentioned, you can go to all the buildings in all the towns, including nameless village, and open all the chests you can at machine 3 using the machine option and try to level up the skill normally. Then at 4 you can open silver chests and proceed from there.

1. Once you get to Level 3 or 4, you should be able to open the jail doors for massive XP, including the jails in all major cities and jails in Crime Investigation Bureau.

2. You're not suppose to use any keys to open chest to level up your machinery, except the golden tier chests with rings. Here's a rather incomplete list of chests from my own notes (I'm playing in Chinese, so I'm not precise with the names):
Nameless Village - Smith shop, Wood cutter house, treasure map chest, Hua Siniang's chest, massive XP gains from elder's chests
Chu Xiang - Jail
DaLiang - Inn, nameless house beside tea shop, armour shop, house beside butcher's shop, outside the school, inside Duke Qi's compound X2, outside the jail, outside the music shop brothel thingy.
Lin'an - Ping An courier, inn, martial arts school, magistrate court, the disrepair temple

Other chests with XP - inside Blue wind camp, Ye army camp, Da Wang (Big King?) bandit camp, Nest of Swallow's hidden room, the Mo Jin (tomb raider's) hidden room.

Your last resort - Ding's family hidden room for massive XP gain.

You'll just have to do this once, your skills can carry over to the next play through if you meet the requirements.

Found one NPC who gives 1800XP in persuasion skill. the scholar in the crossroad, North West from the Nameless Village

I think 1,0 added the npc in water camp giving 1.8k or 3.6k machinery exp. I maxed out mine without grinding at all. the zhuge something guy in water camp
