What are the ways you can regenerate hp?

i know u can get a pitiful amount back with some food and with items, sometimes resting doesnt seem to give hp back though, any ideas?

in combat?, you need some talent to double the amount of combat regen manual (you get from a reward on the early game)

For outside of combat, sleeping in unpaid/poor quality bed will restore less than sleeping in an inn. Sleep for 4 blocks of time (8 hours) will restore 100% of HP in an inn.

There are 3 known Internals that give you Hp Regeneration. There may be more in the newest update.

Revitalization Technique (Rare): +5% Max Hp up to 50 max after every Action. You can get this by helping one of the 2 girls in the opening

Longevity Technique (Epic): +5% missing Hp up to 250 max after every Action. You get this from the Chuxiang Hero Statue if you kowtow with a cushion

Nine Provinces Manual (Legendary): +20% Missing HP and Mp, and -10 Status Effects after every Action. You get this from Joining the Lewd Old Man and becoming his Disciple. Continue his quests until you finish the Fountain of Youth.

There is also the Lotus Gem Accessory. This has the effect: +8% Missing Hp and Mp after every Action. You get this from paying 500 Coins for Ye Yinping's Meal in the Nameless Village Inn around Noon (12 pm). Then you have to Appraise it at a pawn shop for about 1k. Or don't pay for Ye Yinping and trade with Hua Siniang (Inn Keeper) for it fully appraised already

If money is really tight but food for your trusty riding chicken is not, you can put Hua Siniang in your party and sleep for free at her inn.

Similarly, sleeping in Chuxiang becomes free if you can (and you probably can't right now) afford an initial investment of 10k.

As for cash, the easiest way to never have money problems ever again is save scumming the gambling minigames in Daliang and Lin'an - so easy, actually, that if the plan is 'save scum the gambling houses' you should consider cutting the middle man and cheating in the money, as it becomes a simple chore.

the money really unlocks when you have fame 4 and can go to langya or hit lvl 35 and can hit soul destroyer forest. also hitting fame 4 and having an upgraded back mountain with legendary materials is now super great. farming legendary materials and auctioning them off = tons of cash

The innkeeper lady in Nameless Village can be recruited eventually if you help her with the rowdy customer questline. I think there are ~2 quests in the beginning to initially get her, then more after that. I dont know however if you have to get her likeness up before that quest even pops up.
After you recruit her you can stay at that inn for free!!!

ive done this, great tip.

I havent completed one of her quests though, i gotta talk to her to figure out some jewellery she likes for Bao DaTing. yet since she's in my party....i can't.

any ideas how to solve this?

Just remove her from party (you can raise her gift status in party too but need to remove to finish companion questlines), edit: raise her gift status up ( i think the gift status either goes in 10s or 5s havent confirmed yet)...then finish the quest, and add her back.
She can be found for add again where you originally got her ;)

could you explain whats special about soul destroyer forest

Soul Destroyer Forest has 3 Legendary Resource Points, Bug, Herb, and Tree. You can sell those off for money.
Langya Sword Pavilion's Back Mountain is better since there are 4 Legendary Mines and Legendary Ores sell for more at the Auction.

Once you unlock the Homestead, if you Level up the Back Mountain to 4, you can start Harvesting Legendary Resources to sell there. (it will cost 22000 coins to level up though)

Get a internal that grants the Heal ability, enter combat with the button at the bottom, have your team members all use heal on each other. Or use heal on yourself if solo. You can heal animals this way too.

get revitalizing inner technique and to make the heal number goes up, increase your medical level by poking the acupuncture dolls.
