basically I don't think anyone matches perfectly, easiest method is to respec one of your longer serving party members with a forgotten pill, ideally someone who been around you awhile and benefited from your gathering stat upgrade or from events, I used the butcher pang

Nope. They just need 8 min for each stat.

I picked the waiter who wants to be a jianghu hero and used pills/levels to get him qualified. i think it makes a nice narrative.

I made my first wife Hua Sinniang his disciple and it's absolutely worth it. Her growth was slow but she definitely becomes my one-hitter at end game. And her food passive as well as stamina regen are absolutely indispensable at late game grinding.

I chose the little beggar guy from the beginning of the game kinda for the same reason buddy chose the waiter the guy who taught him to survive was part of the sect so it made sense to me.

Be a member of the old man's sect and bring him with you to the 9 Faction's Sect base. I won't spoil what happens but afterward is where you do that.
