Marrying mutliple women?
Hi, i just got the quest to marry into the ding family. I have reached 100 friendship with my other female companions but dont know how i can romance them. Am i bound to 1 or is this wuxia like where i can have several wifes? Do i get any kind of disadvantage with marrying more than one (if its possible to marry more). If its bound to just one, which would be the one with the best benefits?

You can indeed marry multiple women. to marry your companions you need to have wedding stone and 100 relation with them. you must first unlock Marriage's Shrine, to unlock go to the Temple in Chuxiang City. There you will get an event with an Old Couple and tell you the location. Go to the shrine with the companion you want to marry (she must be the only member in your party ) then there should be a event and will ask you to put the wedding stone. if you are interested in getting the harem ending you can check this guide: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3089093281

You can marry multiple wives in the game, but don't marry into the Ding family. If you marry into the Ding family and then marry another woman, you will have a debuff.

That means that you won't get the debuff if you marry into the Ding family last? Last out of the other wives I mean.

You don't have to marry into ding family last, since the debuff is curable unlike the permanent debuff when marring Lady Fu Qing in Duke Kang's manor which should be married last since gifting to other female character will have 90% less effective.

Be careful as the quest to marry Lady Fu Qing becomes unavailable after Duke Kang relocates to a different place from the progression of the storyline. So you wouldn't want to marry her last either. You can also somewhat mitigate the debuff by equipping Peony flowers for all your party members.

Fu qing debuff doesn't really matter after you married 7(?) wives(because of the feat + 30% gift effectiveness to female character) and the bonded/married with the music lady which gave you the riddle in lin'an(+50% gift effectiveness to female when in the party). The need for seal is not really bad after you realized you can TRADE them for some reason kekw.

I think it's still matter since there are female character that needed epic cosmetics and such that can't be purchase in stores and only available in auction or craft it yourself. It will definitely better to marry her last so you don't have to spend so much gift.

If you marry in DIng family you will get red perk (blood worm) which will damage you for every female in party.

You can just save scum for the glittering artifact auction tho to get cosmetic. The musical lady in Lin'an only need like 2-3 epic cosmetic and if you want to go for melody house 3 girls, maybe 2 legendary cosmetic, 2-3 ish epic cosmetic, and sweet(which is puchase-able in night auction.). Money problem can be easily solved selling legendary mats in night auction form your homestead(metal is the easier to get and farm with faster "process" and higher droprate than woods) and save-scumming from gambling. female characters in general is usually not that hard to gift, at least not as hard as the big sect leader, with the hardest one to gift is probably the Yan army lady with at least epic weapon for gift iirc(which you can farm from the worldmap/overworld battle/encounter, especially the boss one with skull.). IIRC you can buy some of cosmetic mats in night auction too from the herb seller.
