Gardens can be upgraded into farms.

I saw an old popular post that google keep redirecting me to saying gardens are a waste and no one there seemed to know you can upgrade the garden, just use the same resources as the farm but substitute the garden for the soil; also with the addition of animal cages you can combine 3 to make an animal pen.
