Should Hotpot count for food *after* the mess hall?

I find it a bit frustrating that I can't give my villagers buffs when eating when i have good food in the mess hall, but the villagers eat out of the hotpot first.

Yeah, this is pretty bad - it's weird that you can stack the hotpot on the mess hall, and then stack other food on top of that, but the hotpot will still get drained first. No buffs.

Agreed, the Mess Hall should take priority over the Hotpot. Hopefully they fix this with the coming update.

Since food in hotpots doesn't confer the Well Fed buff, I think this would be a change for the better.

Well, just the DLC at the end of the month, but I'd hope they'd do some updates at the same time.
