Any news on a new game? Is The Bunker 2 in development?
Would be a big waste to not apply developed for this game AI once again.

Not sure about a sequel, but I'd love them to explore the direction they went into with this. The 0451 (immersive sim design philosphy) inspirations are obvious. And they immediately pulled me more into the game than even the higher rated SOMA.

Also love the somewhat more open structure. The safe room you come back to to plan your moves on the map is also brilliant. This gets your brain THINKING (what am I taking with me, what should I do next) as opposed to following the bread crumbs of a more linear narrative-driven experience.

Whatever they'll do, hopefully this won't be a one-off. Wonder if it's proven to be divisive with their core fanbase though.

Would love an expansion or mod or sequel. Best amnesia game by far, insane replay value.

Highly doubtful there'll be a direct sequel.
They'll either go for something new like SOMA or something in the Amnesia universe.

Their other, bigger project, will take inspirations from The Bunker. Which is good news to me. Technically, it isn't news. Have only found this now though.

With Rebirth launched, and our other project - let's call it the Super Secret Project - still underway, Fredrik Olsson, who was the creative lead on Rebirth, proposed a simple idea: Why not have one monster, give the player a gun, and unleash them in an open world? This was a smaller, more focused project we could finish before the Super Secret Project. The Bunker was born.

This concept diverged significantly from our recent games, but if we trace back to our origins with Penumbra: Overture, it's not that far off. In Overture, players tackled monsters in a freeform manner, using weapons, setting traps, and igniting canisters. The Bunker aims to do the same, but to take it up a notch. At a similar time when Bunker was conceived, it was becoming clear that the Super Secret project wasn't heading in the right direction. Things felt too linear, not open-end enough. Inspired by The Bunker, we decided to steer our other project towards a more open-ended, gameplay-focused direction as well.
