Demo removed?

Release a demo, patch some bugs, remove demo for "not being representative of the full game"...
Yeah, isn't that the point of a demo? You're not getting the full game, you're getting a demo.
It was a breath of fresh air to see a demo for a game like this in a sea of devs who demand you shell out full price and often time gate the experience of the game beyond the two hours to cheat steam's refund system.
Guess I'll need to dust off the ol' hat and do things the old fashioned way to know if this game is worth buying.

The problem with the demo is that the monster didn't ever come out of hiding. Once you figured that out, all tension was immediately sapped and the whole experience just fell apart.

I'm of the belief that all games should have demos. In this case, if the demo was bugged, it should've just been patched.
I don't require a demo before buying a game I'm interested in, but when it's a game I'm not that interested and I downloaded a demo that was then removed before I got a chance to play it, it diminishes what little interest I had.

For those who bought the game, i hope you enjoy it.
