Complete deletion of saves impossible?

I wanted to look again what the behavior of the monster feels like on a first playthrough.
Problem is: The saves seem to restore themselves somehow?
I turn Steam's Cloud Sync off and delete all save files, but when i start the game they're there again.
If someone knows what's going on and/or how to properly get rid of them i'd love to hear it.

Just in case you haven't tried that one already:


If i remember correctly, the player profile and some auto saves are stored under the steam folder "userdata".

Go to the system folder where steam is installed and then follow this path:
\Steam\userdata\xxxxxxx\194443\remote

Delete those auto saves and the ones in the "Amnesia The Bunker" folder (presumably in your main documents folder).

After that you should be good to go.

also if you can't find the amnesia saves in documents it's in the my games folder
