how can i break a door without grenade?

im quite stuck. I've learned with my first death by grenade booby trap door, that they can blow locked wooden doors up. I need to go through one in jail but i have no explosives, is there another way to destroy wooden doors?

BTW, because im fun at parties, those grenades are frags and thats not how frags work! :)

Find a large brick and throw it at the door repeatedly. You did this in the tutorial, if you remember. Explosive barrels work, too. Can't burn them, though. Shotgun works too, doesn't it?

All these work, yeah. Another possible solution would be to have the monster do it for you, but it's a lot more dangerous and unreliable. I managed to have him blow up a few barrels for me, but when it comes to actual doors, he did it a few times without my input when he wanted to investigate these rooms. I never directly tried to get him to destroy doors. I wonder if making enough noise in the vicinity of the door you're trying to destroy would work?

Nope, it scares the ♥♥♥♥ outta me. lol. but i did block his holes with barrels and it goes boom.
