Fire torch stick
When you make the fire torch with the stick and you get too close to the monster why does it drop and how come you cant pick it back up? Bug or?

Torch burns out and becomes unusable. It's a consumable with about minute or two burn time.

I made it in the workshop used it went past the rats and the monster screamed it dropped. it hadent been a min D:

I guess monster roar blows the torch off. Bad luck.
I personally never got face to face with monster with a torch, so i can't say for certain.

Yeah the torch states it's for scaring off small creatures, the big man doesn't care for it.

i didnt try to scare the big man with it nor could i see it. it screamed and it dropped

When u fire up the torch- u can check its burn status in tab menu - there is a special bar on the item icon

Torches are by far the best thing to have with you, especially now I feel, playing it on normal. Im prioritizing them over everything, same value as a canister of fuel, in my opinion. Its a light that doesnt make any sound and also deals with the rats. its perfect.

Im seeing that tbh. i went straight for the hardest difficulty. The workshop area is a nightmare. im storing fuel too

But I couldn't get out how to make the game prioritize which torch to burn if I have multiple torches in inventory
