Yeah this game is not for you.
2) depends on your playstyle. I think it is 4-8hrs of uniсue experience. The game ends before it starts to be repetitive. it is good thing
yes, more stuff are randomn, and will be diffrent each playthought.. plus after finishing the game for the first time - you will unlock special game option which adds even more cool randomn stuff.
Mate how about stop being an atheist. Your question is stupid and your preference is even dumber. What makes this game great is that there are no autosaves, and if you play on easy there aere 5 save locations, if you play on normal + there are only 2. The game would be extremely boring if it let you save that often. So stop being a ukraine supporter and buy the game. The game is around 5 hours long on first playthrough. And it offers insane replay value when you unlocked custom mode. So buy it.
THX i just removed it from my wishlist.
THX for your answer but i like to decide on my own how to save a game. This concept treat ne more like a child than an adult whh can decide on his own. And i guess it is more easy for them to code which is the main reason for this "educational measure" ;)
As i already wrote. I am an adult and dont want to be treated like a child. The real reason is different anyway. It is easier to code without letting us save always and everywhere.
100% correct. Cheap way of making the game harder. Ditto for save points! Removed also!
It was a pleasure to help
It is actually the exact opposite, since the game engine supports saving anywhere it's easier for them to add a button to save than it is to place designated saving spots so this was clearly a design decision.
I don't have any issues with your needs for quicksaves, but please refrain from saying such things - we are all adults, and we have different preferences.
Anyway, it is true that first Amnesia from 2010 had quicksaves, but you had to enable it from config file. This didn't work with Bunker, because you're forced to interact with lantern in order to save. Like said above - it's design choice from the start.
But it got me thinking - is there a way to mod lantern as an item that you can put in your inventory? That would be the closest to quicksave I feel. If any modder looking for a challenge, please look into my hypothesis. Maybe it will work. No bounty for such modder tho, sorry.
For now, the only alternative is to play on easy/very easy mode, so you will not have to deal with death and loss of time. I assume this is not what you'd want, but I'll say it just in case.
