German Prisoner's Identity

I'm a type of guy who often likes binging wikis for a game after finishing it.
Having been done with The Bunker since two days ago (loved the game), I wanted to look up some translation of the German Prisoner's dialogue out of curiosity.

To my surprise, I found out that there's a wiki page dedicated to him and his supposed real name, Karl Springer.
Now, this is some interesting info, but one thing that got me especially curious is that... Well, 1# I don't remember finding a single note in the game that mentions him apart from that one report that only states his prisoner number and one where he's being accused of leaving his cage and murdering one of the French soldiers, and 2# The wiki doesn't really state where his full name can be found.

Now, there's a chance this wiki page could be fake, I've seen plenty of words in there having typos, but it also seems to mention the exact things he does in the game in detail, so I'm not entirely sure.
There is at least a seperate page which translates all of his dialogue (which is exactly what I was looking for) so there's that, I suppose...

I admit, I'm not the best at searching for things, but something in my head tells me that somewhere, in the bunker there's a note left by the prisoner where he states his full name.

If that's true, has somebody found anything about him?

I think they got his name from looking at the game files. There’s usually extra info to find there like "NPC_Spawn_Karl_Springer" (not real example) and what not that would tell things the players won’t find out just from in-game text. Karl is never mentioned by name either through dialogue or through the text logs. It’s just some extra detail that can be found.
