Report a translation problem
UPDATE: I loaded up a previous save and shot two canisters—one that had been previously activated by an explosion, and another that had not. The first didn't do anything (obviously), and the second immediately began filling the room with gas. It's possible that the canister you shot was previously activated off-screen by an explosion or some other outside force—or, just bugged.
just throw a grenade at it
As a test to see if the door would catch fire, burn, leave it open to enter. I was out of grenades. Just was experimenting. In real life that wooden door would have burned down.
I put a ton on it. It should have turned to ashes. Big fire it caused but door is magically resistant it seems. XD
