Tell me you've never used a high refresh rate monitor without telling me you've never used a HRR monitor...

LOL Yeah because I totally have to squint at my screen to tell that the game is running at a framerate above 60 HA
Yes, that's what you should really do, and even with that you won't see any difference!

You would see difference with 144hz monitor
I've run tests with monitor like this and haven't found any difference, this is a big delusion that many live in.
Higher FPS monitors are Scam

I said the same... until i got a high refresh monitor... now switching between 60 and 120 is like night and day...
You are suffering from a delusion. What happened is that you listened to one of the YouTubers talking about this fps myth , And he was able to deceive you with some fake pictures and comparisons , so you fell into this scam and bought one of these monitors! you have to put the two monitors next to each other and test them and you will not notice any difference.
This is how the delusion works. When you look at each monitor separately, you will be delusional, but when you put the two monitors next to each other, you will not notice any difference.

The new yakuza titles all run uncapped frame rates except the minigames which are for some reason capped at 60. This means I'm playing the main game all the time at 120fps, when I start a minigame it goes to 60. The difference is INSANELY OBVIOUS TO ANYONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE A BRAIN INJURY.

The difference is, 60 Hz gives motion sickness and 144 doesn't. At least for me.

You don't understand how the illusion works, this is an illusion, but in reality there is no noticeable difference, you have to put the two monitors next to each other and try to find the difference.

Keeping with the same example, I was specifically playing Lost Judgement. I *did not know* about the minigames being capped at 60. The rest of the game runs perfectly with DLSS at 120. I decide to go and play the batting minigame, super fun. I INSTANTLY NOTICE that its running at a much lower frame rate. I think to myself "What the hell? Why is it performing so badly all of a sudden, *****its like its capped at 60 or somehting*****" I turn on the steam overlay fps counter and lo and behold it reads 60 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ frames per second. If you actually need me to spell it out for you, this means that I was literally able to see the difference, very very very obviously and clearly without requiring a direct comparison, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ immediately, AND I was correct.
How is that a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ illusion Chucky?

No, you need a direct comparison to get the answer.
Watch this video and tell me why the difference between 15 and 30 is so noticeable but the difference between 30 and 60 is barely noticeable even though the number is double in both cases?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRWKVYbZtTM

The higher you double the number, the less likely you are to notice any difference

The video says otherwise, this is proof in front of you, but you resort to your illusion!
Although this game in this video is a racing game, meaning that there are a lot of things happening on the screen, but despite that, the difference between 30 and 60 is barely noticeable, so how can you notice the difference in slow games like horror games?!

And you didn't reply to me until after I was banned!
You are really very brave!!
And you have to learn to read because I said in my previous comment that I ran tests on the fps myth on dedicated monitors and not on "inferior" monitor as you described it!
And I'm saying in front of everyone now, if Steam doesn't ban this person for nearly a month, just like it happened to me, then there is a double standards!
I reported this comment and i'm waiting for this "thing" to be banned for a month!

You probably got banned because you started saying people who see the difference have mental illness and you have started using mental ilness as an insults which is probably why some of your posts got removed and why you got banned, you fully deserved the ban and I do not doubt you will eventually get another ban.

Lol found console player from last gen era lmao.

Even current consoles have way more games run at 60fps than ever before, some more simple games even run at 120 fps on PS5 and XSX, even damn phones now have 120hz screens and some high end models even record video at 4k 120fps.

Why are you even comparing 60 vs 144 on youtube cause youtube is capped at 60 fps so you wont see the difference even if watching the video on 144hz display.

Your display and source device both must support 144hz and media you are watching has to be 144hz or you wont see the difference.

You cannot expect to watch 60fps video on 144hz monitor and notice any difference cause the video itself is only 60fps.

Many people that I know who have got used to 30fps on older gen consoles can clearly notice how much smoother new console gen is when running 60fps games and they can notice every drop and those same people can without issue see the 60 vs 144 on my PC, its night and day difference.

You did not understand and it does not seem that you will ever understand!
it doesn't matter how many games or platforms are running at 60 FPS or more, you have to understand what the point of the argument is,
The point is that there is no noticeable difference between 60 fps and more, and this was based on tests that I conducted myself using monitors that able to run at higher than 60 fps, and I did not find any difference at all.
This is a delusion that some people live in. And I am not the only one who conducted these tests, but there are many, and there are videos on YouTube about that, go and watch them and you'll discover that you fell victim to scam

And as I have already said multiple times I too have conducted tests without even knowing which of 3 EXACT SAME monitors NEXT TO EACH OTHER were set to which refresh rate and I was able to notice the difference right awayand the difference is night and day even just moving the mouse cursor on desktop let alone in actual games.

Few people I know have done the same tests too and every single one of them noticed it right away and knew which monitor was running 60, which one was 90 and which one was 144 so keep lying to yourslef about not seeing difference to make yourself feel better about having bad displays and hardware.

And how do you know they didnt test it themselves with two monitors, you know most people these day have two or three same monitors and its not rocket science to get your friend to setup each one to different refresh rate without you looking and then seeing if you can notice it, I know I can notice it.

LOL, cant be dellusion if they notice the drop to 60 without even looking at an overlay or knowing in advance that mini games are locked.

They are probably a troll at this point, they keep telling that I need to try with monitors next to each other with different refresh rate which I have done multiple times with 3 exact same monitors just set at different refresh rate and I have correctly noticed which one runs at which refresh rate right away.

The fun fact is that Eddie is the one that keeps saying that you need to squint or that you need magnifier glass to see the difference when in fact even if you have bad vision your eyes will still see the motion properly even if your vision is so bad that everything is blurry.

For example, I can see the difference in 60 vs 144 without issue even if I take off my glasses and everything is blurry and I can see exact same difference even with glasses so even if they had bad vision they should be able to see the difference.

Go and ask only 10 people if they notice any difference between 30 and 60, they wouldn't give you one answer! Some of them would say that there is a difference, and some of them would say that there is no difference,
But if you ask them about the difference between 15 and 30, they would give you one answer, which is that there is a clear difference!! so why?!!!
