second playthrough changes?

booted the game up again after beating it last night and i've noticed that on a new save, the shotgun spawns in central bunker. i'm aware that there's random elements, so i was wondering what else changes after beating the game and what is just rng?

There are 2 shotguns in the game, one in a locker (cant remember who) and the one you get by killing Toussaint. You can only pick 1 though.

EDIT: lockers are mostly randomized, theres a chance you find the shotgun straight away, which happened on your second playthrough

I played on hard and the only shotgun i got is from Toussaint. I had really bad loot luck too, i had a period where i was walking with an empty gun for 2-3 hours.

I'm almost certain that (regardless of difficulty) the shotgun's location is not random: it can only be obtained from Toussaint on the first playthrough, and can always be obtained from Fortin's locker on subsequent playthroughs.

Shotgun in locker is exclusive to 2nd playthrough in my experience, at least on hard.
