This is an issue for a lot of players at the moment. There are already a few noted bugs, but they seem to have easy fixes (uninstalling and reinstalling the game itself). All we can really hope for though is that Fancy puts out a patch soon after.

I have the same issue, trying to uninstall and reinstall

Tried uninstalling and re-installing and that didn't fix it. It unbinds my keys every time I open or even get to a new level. I can't play it until they fix this. I tried verifying file integrity twice and that did nothing either. Any other tips are welcome

uploading a hotfix for this right now. temporary fix is:

Delete the "Backrooms" folder here:

C:\Users\(YOURUSER)\AppData\Local\Backrooms

for the temp fix you need hidden items ticked to see the Backrooms Folder to do so go to view in your file explorer and check hidden
items
